Nevada System of Higher Education
Michael Sady has spent the last 34 years teaching chemistry and environmental science at Western Nevada College. He has research interest in plant biochemistry, natural products, and science education. Mike was recently the Community College Summer Scholar and mentor for the NSF-EPSCoR Climate Change grant, and is currently the undergraduate research advisor for the Solar NEXUS award. He joins the team with Michele Casella and others in increasing the pool and diversity of applicants for UROP and STEM programs, with a particular emphasis on the participation of primarily undergraduate institutions (community and state colleges).
