Shanelle Davis is the Associate Project Coordinator for the NERDS (Nevada Educators Really Doing Solar) and SCIP (STEM Career Investigation Program) programs at the Raggio Research Center for STEM Education. She joins the RRC with experience coordinating STEM outreach programs for at-risk and low income student populations for the College of Engineering at UNR.
Shanelle was a first generation college student, receiving her B.A. in History from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her experience planning events and coordinating programs, along with her understanding of the challenges faced by non-traditional students led her to the RRC.
