Dr. Scotty Strachan, Director of Cyberinfrastructure

Dr. Scotty Strachan, NSF EPSCoR participant, named Director of Cyberinfrastructure (CI), University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). Strachan a self-declared native Nevadan, raised in rural western Nevada since age three, earned his PhD while simultaneously working on the NSF EPSCoR award, to be selected Director of CI is a great success story. “The last two EPSCoR Track 1 projects prepared me for exactly for this work,” Strachan says. “This is a huge win for EPSCoR and CI in my book.” Congratulations Dr. Strachan!
