The National Science Foundation EPSCoR, the Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research, plays a key role in addressing budget cuts that have reduced funding to research institutions throughout Nevada. EPSCoR brings together federal and state agencies, private industry, and all eight of Nevada’s higher education institutions to help create improvements in scientific research, infrastructure, R&D capacity and national competitiveness.
